Description
Star Trek D-A-C would have greatly benefited from some sort of progression system. Either a ranking system from Ensign on up to Admiral or the ability to permanent upgrade ships would have proved a great incentive to keep playing. But the small amount of maps and lack of game mode customization really hurt Star Trek's longevity. This is a game you can have fun with for a few hours, but beyond that, there's just not enough depth to keep it interesting.
